What is a highly-qualified worker?

– You are considered a highly-qualified worker if you have a work contract of at least one year, and if you meet the conditions listed below. https://ec.europa.eu/immigration/blue-card/essential-information_en You must work as a paid employee - the EU Blue Card does not apply to self-employed work or entrepreneurs;

Sufficient knowledge of German

– You must have an adequate command of the German language (level B 1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). If you were in possession of either a residence permit or a residence authorisation on 31/12/2004, you only have to demonstrate basic knowledge of the German language (level A 1) to be granted a permanent settlement permit.

Ausreichende Deutsch-Kenntnisse Sie müssen über ausreichende deutsche Sprachkenntnisse (Niveau B 1 des Gemeinsamen Europäischen Referenzrahmens für Sprachen) verfügen.

Wenn Sie am 31.12.2004 bereits eine Aufenthaltserlaubnis oder Aufenthaltsbefugnis besessen haben, benötigen Sie zur Erteilung der Niederlassungserlaubnis nur einfache deutsche Sprachkenntnisse (Niveau A 1).

Kinder zur Botschaft mitnehmen ist es ein Muss?

Ja. Der Grundsatz der persönlichen Vorsprache gilt auch bei der Beantragung für minderjährige Kinder. Wenn Sie als Elternteil oder sonstiger gesetzlicher Vertreter einen Visumantrag stellen möchten, so bringen Sie Kinder, die mindestens 12 Jahre alt sind, bitte bereits zur Antragstellung mit. Kinder, die 11 Jahre alt oder jünger sind, erscheinen bitte zur Visumabholung.
